Job Description
We are looking for a Test & Support engineer who will join our Scalstrm team in working on our next generation media platform. This includes managing and maintaining automated tests services and troubleshooting customer cases.
The best candidate will have significant experience in technologies such as Linux, high-level networking, Python, etc. We perform continuous delivery and continuous integration with a strong emphasis on automated testing, automated deployments, full code coverage, monitoring, and other modern DevOps processes using tools such as Git, Slack, Jenkins, etc.
Having knowledge about video streaming is certainly a bonus.

Responsibilities
- Manage helpdesk issues, including root cause analysis and technical report writing where applicable
- Generate and approve production Test Specifications working alongside the Design teams
- Be involved with the change process, ensuring approval of all test related changes and that manufacturing test data is up to date and correct
- Attend development design reviews
- Attend software release meetings and the introduction of software updates within production, including maintenance of the production software library
- Support and maintain production test equipment
- Engage with product development to broaden personal test knowledge and skills, including personal research
- Promote a dynamic, diverse, conscientious and proactive team based approach within the organisation
